As some of you might know, I’ve been training with Dave ( @westonsfitness ) for a while now. As someone who has been described as ‘sedentary’ (dad) and ‘nervous of fast or sudden movement’ (my school report aged 3) this has been pretty scary. But Dave has been so great- always patient, positive and full of terrible puns! He is so good at pushing me to challenge myself but never letting me feel overwhelmed or incapable, and I am so grateful for all his encouragement. I’m also proud of myself for my progress, however small.

Our sessions are achievable yet stretching so that I see and feel progression each week. Having Dave as my personal trainer has been great, after just four sessions I really started to notice differences in my strength and endurance. He works with you towards your own goals and pushes you to your limits to achieving great results. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get fit whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who is already into exercise and training.

Guided Meditation - Since I was 13, I’ve always worked and earned my own money. Now I’m 37 and feel guilty for having time off due to this shoulder injury. After a pep talk and first ever guided meditation session with @westonsfitness I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Made me realise to always be grateful and celebrate all the achievements in your life. Be it relationships, frienships or work. Amazing what a bit of controlled breathing can do.

First training session in over 4 months with the very patient Dave @westonsfitness he really does personalise everything to suit the individual (even remembering my allergies when he brings along breakfast) every session is different and if I don't like something he adjusts it.. I love my new WF t-shirt to train in.

It’s more than exercise during my sessions. When I’m feeling particularly stressed Dave will end a session with guided meditation. Not only is this great to bring my heart rate down after a sweaty work out but it also really helps to slow down my busy mind and leave me feeling much more relaxed and calm. I’ve even found myself crying after one session (not in a bad way). I always leave these sessions feeling happier and more positive. I recommend everyone gives the guided meditation a go especially if you usually find it hard to shut your negative inner voice up.

I see Dave 4 times a week, he comes to my house for our sessions which is ideal for me as I have a 2 year old son. I can’t always find time to get over to the heath and also I am not a member of a gym. Dave is always so patient during our sessions. So far I’ve lost 2 stone and feel the best I’ve felt in a long time. I’ve never mediated before until Dave recommend it. We’ve done guided meditation and now I can’t imagine my life without it. It helps me deal with my anxiety and not to mention my confidence has really blossomed since I‘ve started training with Dave. Honestly I can’t recommend him enough, the session are always so much fun!
